SUTTON MILITARY VETERANS, ATTENTION!!
The Sutton Historical Society is in the process of updating the town's history and the committee working this project wants to include all of Sutton's military veterans in the update so that current and future generations are aware of the service and sacrifices made by our town's service members.
Honor Roll plaques have been installed at the Town Hall and the common in Vernondale which list those who entered service from the town in World Wars I and II, Korea and Vietnam, however we have no record of people who served between or after these wars.
If you, a family member or loved one from Sutton served in the military during the last century or in the current one and are not listed on the honor rolls we would like to see you included in the update.
Similarly, if any of you veterans have items which may be of historical interest to current or future Sutton residents and would like to share them or make them viewable by others we would be happy to talk with you.
