Meeting House Hill Tree Farm is a 40.2-acre property comprised of three contiguous tax lots located on Meetinghouse Hill Road in South Sutton, New Hampshire. As resident landowners, we actively manage our agricultural land and forestland. We maintain a small fruit tree orchard and vegetable garden. We raise sheep, a horse and chickens. We mow fields, graze pastures and grow balsam fir Christmas trees. We operate a small (< 50 taps) maple sugaring operation. We annually cut four to five cords of hardwood fuel wood for our personal use and one cord of softwood fuel wood for sugaring. Our property includes stories in stone. The woods are rooted in local history. Here are a few of the cultural and natural history stories and wildlife habitats evident on our land.
