ntroductions were done.
The September 9th meeting minutes were reviewed and approved.
The timeline for the Chapter was reviewed. This is the last Subcommittee meeting. The Chapter is
scheduled for the Planning Board public hearing on October 26th and the material for the meeting
will be available at the Town Hall and on the web site on October 15th.
The Public Information survey results that relate to the Natural Resources Chapter were presented
and explained. Relevant survey results from this and the 1999 survey will be added into the chapter
in appropriate locations.
The purpose for tonight’s meeting is to review the entire chapter and associated maps and make
sure that the Subcommittee is ready to send it to the Planning Board.
There were no changes made to the Introduction or Soils sections.
The Excavation Sites and Potential Sources of Contamination Location Map will be amended per
Anita Blakeman’s data.
The data in the table on page 5 will be checked to make sure it is accurate.
Information on non-point source contaminates will be added, as provided by Dave D., to the
Potential Sources of Contamination section. A new recommendation will be added regarding the
creation of a Kezar Lake Watershed Overlay District.
The Slope and Scenic Viewpoint Map will be revised to show the direction of the views from the
viewpoints.
Language will be added to the Current Use section describing the program in more detail.
The 2nd paragraph of the Trails section, the Snowmobiling section, and the 2nd paragraph in the
Class A Trails section will be reworded to make them clearer.
