TOWN OF SUTTON
BOARD OF SELECTMEN
June 16, 2008 @ 4:30 p.m.
Pillsbury Memorial Hall, 93 Main Street, Sutton Mills
The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Philip Buteau, Chair. Present at the meeting was Philip Buteau, Chair; Walter Baker, Jr., Selectman; Daniel Kossick, Garrett Evans and Elly Phillips, Recording Secretary.
The minutes from June 9, 2008 were approved as written. The Board reviewed and approved the following manifests:
PAYROLL MANIFEST: $ 12,714.76
VENDOR MANIFEST: $ 9,132.08
INTENT TO CUTS:
1. Action on an intent to cut for Harold Buker, Map 06-800-075, Nelson Hill Road for 30 acres out of 80 was deferred pending recommendation of a timber bond amount.
BUILDING PERMITS:
The Board reviewed and approved the following building permits:
1. Jason and Ann Pitts, Map 10-528-179, Summit Road, for a garage.
2. Daniel Kossick, Map 01-132-113, East Sutton Road for a garage.
3. Garrett and Tara Evans, Map 04-026-499, Hermit Hollow Lane, for a shed
4. Ronald and Brenda Cooper, 08-799-239, for a shed.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. The Board issued an abatement due to an assessing error for David Lafond, Map 05-497-487, in the amount of $50.63.
SELECTMEN’S COMMENTS:
1. Selectman Baker reported that he had attended the June 12, 2008, Highway Facility Committee meeting and that the Committee was looking at the current site. The Committee was interested in performing site analysis etc. and was wondering about the possibility of obtaining funding through a special meeting. The AA agreed to research the matter.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5.38 p.m.
